Hello guys. You might wonder what happened to me last time. I relaxed for a few days at the camp of the Silver Enlightenment Brotherhood. Meanwhile each of my body parts changed back to the right shape and appearance and I bounced out of the place in the early morning light because that yeti adventure was way too rough even for me. I sneaked back to Nepal and got on the first plane. A few days later I landed on Crete, Greece just in time to enjoy the Crete rock festival and beauties of the island. Nice music, friendly people and pleasant weather are guaranteed on this island. Only one thing can make this even better: A real Greek gyros. Not that half-baked grub you can get on the Grand Boulevard in Budapest but the true Greek pita which is much thicker and never leaks. You can choose from pork, calf and chicken as well. You can often select from a wide variety of sauces on top plus it contains fries. For a drink I had retsina. This is a typical Greek white wine originated from ancient times and it gets its unique flavor by the resin added during fermentation. It is dry white but incomparable to any kind of Hungarian wines.
In the afternoon I made friends with two Greeks: Michalis Mytakidis and Stefanos Psarros. They told me about a party on another island, named Antikithira. It is a small island and the party was in a cave. We sailed a bit on the Aegean Sea than landed on the island. As we were walking towards the cave I spotted a group of Chinese men. Strangely enough they each had a backpack. They were busy taking pictures but one of them was only looking at me. Why did he do that? They didn't seem to be typical tourists but there was no time to worry about them. We had to enter the cave at low tide. When the high tide came it closed the only entrance. The party was a very special psychedelic event with the music of the late 60s and early 70s. The participants were international but the hosts were Greeks. The atmosphere was absolutely incredible and I had a very good time. However that suspicious Chinese look makes me think..
